IBM research focused on the current security issues dealing with mallicious viruses gives a new perspective to the antivirus solutions using new concept.
I found this concept is very much similar how a human body deals with the biological viruses inside his body. Using the same mechanism, one day we will fight with this virus using optimal heuristic approaches.
HOW ?
The system on the client machine detects a mallicious code using heuristic calculation & matches. It take the sample of detected code and send it to the Server at HeadQuater of the Antivirus company. There the sample is searched in large set of data , already produced using previous searches. The solution is prepared there using high performing computers and tested for the correct solution and result is analysed deeply. This solution is sent to the client machine using networks and there it is executed to remove the mallicious code. This whole process of finding and repairing will take less than a hour.
Now using this solution there is no need of downloading updates everywhere and producing inefficient redundancy of signature files…
